UPDATE ON POWER OUTAGES IN NORTHFIELD

There are still 105 Northfield Electric customers still without power due to eight outage events. Green Mountain Power crews are in Northfield working to restore power. We are hopeful that GMP can restore power to all customers this evening.

However, due to the type of storm, some customers could be without power until tomorrow.

This was a difficult storm due to the wet heavy snow, which requires the removal of wires from trees and, in some situations, difficult rewiring to the poles.
